QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE :
1. A Master’s degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC
seven point scale. (5% relaxation in Master’s Degree to SC/ST & Departmental candidates)
2. At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000 and above or
with eight years of services in the AGP of Rs.8000 and above including as Associate Professor along
with experience in educational administration
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of
Higher Education
OR
15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
3Knowledge of Marathi is essential.
Pay Scale:-
Rs.37400-67000 AGP 10000 (for UGC qualifications & teaching exp.)
Rs.37400-67000 GP 8900 (for other candidates)
In addition to pay, other allowances will be payable as per Govt. rules.
Age: Candidate shall not be less than forty-five years of age unless already in the service of
the Universities or affiliated colleges.
