Indian Ordnance Factory Kanpur Notified Recruitment 2013

Title:- Indian Ordnance Factory, Kanpur invited application from Indian nationals for Recruitment to the various Semi-skilled Posts and for the Posts of Lower Divisional Clerk. The candidates eligible for the Posts may send their applications through the prescribed format on or before 23 November 2013.  More details are given below:

Age Limit
For Posts 1 to 19, the age limit is 18 – 32 years, and for the post no. 20, candidates must be between 18 – 27 years of age.

NOTE: Upper Age Relaxation is applicable as per Govt Rule for all the Posts

Educational Qualification
For Posts No. 1 to 19, the essential educational qualification is/are:
  • Passed Matriculation or equivalent Exam
  • National Council of Trades for Vocational Training (NCTVT) or ITI or equivalent Diploma/Certificate in the relevant trade.
For the Post No. 20 (LDC), the essential educational qualification is/are:
  • Passed 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University
  • Computer Skills with typing speed of 35 w.p.m for English and 30 w.p.m for Hindi, only on computers.
Selection Procedure
Semi-skilled Job candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination, and the LDC candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Examination and Typing Test taken together.

Interested yet eligible candidates are required to fill the Application Form Online from 02 – 23 November 2013 through the website www.ofkanpur.gov.in and then, send the hard copies of filled Online Applications along with the copies of all the required certificates/testimonials on or before 23 November 2013 at the following address:
