Essential Qualifications:
(A) Candidates should have thorough knowledge of Hindi (Devnagri script).If the candidate has not passed High school or equivalent examination in Hindi, he/she has to to clear an exam conducted by the Registrar, Department Examination Govt. Of U.P. within 3 years of joining.
(B) A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering /Electronics Engineering/Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology and Civil Engineering from a University OR Institution established by law in Uttar Pradesh or from any other Institution recognized by State Government or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Government OR Part-A & B examinations conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India).(Same branch as Engg. Branch of Post being applied for)
(C) General and OBC candidates having minimum 60% marks and SC/ST candidates having minimum 55 % marks in aggregate in Engineering Degree are only eligible to apply for the above posts.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-3 - Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- Dearness and other allowances admissible as per rules of UPPCL.
Age Limit: 21 to 35 Years as on 01-01-2013. As per Govt. Rules.
Selection Process & Examination Centre: Selection Process will be based on Computer Based Test and interview. Computer Based Test(CBT) will be held at Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra, Kanpur, Bareflly, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, and Meerut.
Processing Fee: Rs.1000/- General / Other Backward Class (OBC) and candidates other than states of U.P. (Any Category). Rs.700/- - SC (Domicile of UP) Category / ST (Domicile of UP) Category. No fee for Handicap Category.
