Title:-Ministry of Railways, Rail Wheel Factory, Bangalore invited application from sports persons who have achieved medal-winning position in International/National events etc., in the prescribed format for various sports disciplines in against Open Advertisement quota for the year 2013-14. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 25 November 2013. RailWheel Factory (RWF) at Yelahanka, Bangalore is a premier manufacturing unit of Indian Railways, which is engaged in the production of wheels, axles and wheel sets of railroad wagons, coaches and locomotives and select overseas customers. It was commissioned in 1984 to manufacture wheels and axles for the Indian Railways.

Age limit
- Candidate should have 18 years and not below 25 years as on 1 January 2014.
- No Age Relaxation in lower or upper age limits for any category of candidate.
- Junior Clerk-cum-Typist: Candidate should be minimum SSC/Matriculation.
- Helpers and other erstwhile Group ‘D’ categories: Candidate should be minimum 10th pass or ITI or equivalent.
- A crossed Indian Postal Order for Rs. 40/- towards Processing Fee drawn in favour of Assistant Chief Cashier, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore-560064, payable at Bangalore.
- SC/ST, Women, Minorities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zorastrians {Parsis}) and economically backward classes are exempted from examination fee.
- Junior Clerk-cum-Typist: Rs.5200-20200 + GP of Rs. 1900/-
- Helpers and other erstwhile Group ‘D’ categories: Rs.5200-20200 + GP of Rs. 1800/-
Candidate will be selected on the basis of Trial in respective game to be conducted by Trial Committee followed by interview.
