Name of the Exam: SCRA Exam 2014
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 17 years to 21 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ with first or second division or its equivalent Examination from any School/ Board. Candidates must have passed with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry are also eligible for SCRA 2014.
Application Fee: General and all other unreserved category candidates need to pay Rs. 100/- as application fee. SC / ST / Female / PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Fee should be paid in any Branch of SBI by cash or using SBI Internet banking. Application fee can be paid in all State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected based on their performance in Written Examination and Interview.
Online Application Form: All those candidates who wish to apply for Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) Exam 2014, are required apply through filling online application form on its official website at www.upsconline.nic.in from 05th October 2013 to 04th November 2013. Follow the instructions given below on how to fill online application form.
How to Apply:
- Visit UPSC official website at www.upsconline.nic.in.
- Now click on “Online application for Various Examinations” of UPSC.
- Candidates need to select the Part I of Application by clicking on the link as “Click Here below Part I Registration of desired service.”
- Fill all mandatory details in Part I of Application and make the payment.
- Revisit the same webpage after making payment online or offline.
- This time candidates need to click on “Part II Registration” link.
- Once again fill all the mandatory details in art II of Application.
- Now upload the scanned Photograph and Signature and submit your application.
- Take print out of Online Application and keep it for further use.
